Mo Murphy
Having just seen a request on the wanted forum, my curiosity is piqued. What advantages are there to be had with D2 axles? Mo
Lewis
Greater steering lock, wider overall. Better wheel bearings. dave88sw
But you have those god awful to change swivel ball joints. You wouldn't find me changing from standard axles, i could have the swivel ball and it's bearings changed and set up properly before i'd got 1 of those stupid ball joints out of the disco 2 axle. I'll take the adjustable ones from the older axles over these damn unit bearings any day.

dave88sw
Swivel ball joints are easy enough to change even during an event Either you've bought the tool or i've been doing something wrong, done 3 or 4 now, had to burn the old ones out with the oxy set and spend half an hour whacking the new ones in. I hate the job.
