brizzler
Hi all and hello. My first post following purchase of '09 tdci. After several other LR marques we decided to get the one we really should have got in the first place. We had other Freelanders (good enough for us but a bit small) and a Disco 3 (ended up to be a Friday afternoon car that needed garage visits almost monthly). Looking forward to reading all the sage advice on here :-)

Troll Hunter
Welcome aboard. You've chosen the right place for sound technical advice, based on experience, not B******t! I don't know how I'd keep my Def running without all the good info I've gained here. Mike

brizzler
Thanks all Just briefly, does anyone have a good steer for a roof rack that a) doesn't cost the earth (seen many at £1400+) but will do for carrying and potential tent bearing? Thanks
Adam001
Welcome Brownchurch, Flatdog, Safety Devices, Masai, Hannibal, Frontrunner, Rhino and Patriot There's a starter for 10 I currently have a Land Rover OEM roof rack on mine. When I replace it (long time yet, it's great!) I'll get a flat rack aluminium one.
AndrewHorsfield
You can always mount a roof tent on good quality roof bars. I did it for the first year until I could afford/find a decent second hand one
