Agreed ! Thus my comment that it was peculiar -- rather than say ghastly.
If fairness to me too the 'pass the bucket' remit has been fairly wide on occasion ... And just how ghastly or how hard to address its issues hasn't always been a factor
At least we agree the wheels have got to go though.
Mine failed because the washer jet stopped working .... I think dirt in the tank was stirred up in the drive to the MOT centre, as it worked at home but not when there.
I wonder why land rover weren't interested in developing the defender replacement with an eye to the military markets - there must be lucrative contracts in selling these to the worlds armed forces ?
I think the potential areas for concern seem quite broad to me - top of the list perhaps being it removing small pieces of metal from your grasp and converting them, through a process of circular acceleration, into ninja throwing stars ....
An ignoramus question if I may - the shortcoming of an LSD is often cited as the 'wheel in the air' scenario - but I presume it is unable to reduce slip in any situation where there is a wheel with no traction ? Such as a wheel spinning over a wet rock etc ?
There's truth in that ..... my last set of AT's came off at around 50k miles. Mind you I replaced them with the Insa Track Edge copies - which are now at 35K.
