  1. Hi Is there any difference in real life use between S3 109 diesel and petrol senders? The petrol one (623097) is currently outof stock, whereas the diesel one (623098) is in stock. Its just a pick up pipe and a float so cant see that much difference? Ta Mike

  18. Hello Could someone who has a military roll hoop ( the one that mounts to the capping) be a love and measure it up for me? I'd like to copy it so all the dimensions and some close up photos of the mounting brackets would be really helpful! Thanks Mike
  19. It turned out very nicely, he found a few holes I'd missed, don't have any photos I'm afraid, The chap who did mine painted it in weld through primer for me so it's still looking good now about 5 yrs later Mike
  20. Beware of your balls! I had to replace mine as despite asking nicely twice they got basted too!
  21. As above You need a body cross member, the front tub support mounts, side frames (s3 ones fit and are available new but approx £180 a side) britcar sell the genuine rear seat belt mount kit but it's expensive for what it is! I converted my HT to a SW and it is all nuts and bolts but reassuringly expensive! Mike
  22. It's brand new fitted yesterday, sedimenter is crystal clear, surely it can't be full of bits already? Bloody thing! I'll take the top off it and see, I'm seriously tempted to fix it with matches if I ever see any petrol lol!
  23. Hi Does the S3 petrol have a non return valve in the fuel line? I'm having trouble starting, spent hours pumping the priming lever yesterday and managed to finally get a dribble of fuel up to the carb, it's a brand new pump with a good suction if you put a finger over the inlet, I checked for leaks and it all looks good, Anyway I went back to it today and it was bone dry again, surely it shouldn't have all leaked back to the tank? Any ideas? I'm going to take the inlet off again and blow the fuel line out with the compressor but there was plenty of clean fuel in the sedimenter bowl Mike
