  1. You have your main power lead to the winch, the earth for the winch can connect close to the winch it does not need to go back to battery box, I can operate my winch remotely but can also operate with fixed switches from within the cab, the wiring for these switches will need to go back to the winch solenoid to achieve operation regards Stephen
  2. Do you think it would be possible to set up on a lathe and use a tool post grinder to re-surface the seal land and then fit an over size seal ?? regards Stephen

  13. As above the only provision would be where you got the parts from, if shipped from the UK then your rear left spring will not take into account driver weight and fuel tank if on the American side, in that instance I would swap the sides regards Stephen
  14. Little bit of a funny story with what you've said there.. One of the fitters where I work was watching me set up the tolerances on my brake discs and calipers, I had stopped for a minute to contemplate my measurements, and he asked me what I was thinking, so I told I may him I may need to add a shim because my measurements were out by 0.2mm.... He looked at me and said " it's a bloody Landrover, an inch would be acceptable " Had to laugh because he was kind of right so I left it as it was and I've had no issues with it Regards Stephen
  15. My immediate answer would be no with nuke spec chassis... But the sensible answer is, I will keep an eye on it and modify it if required, it would be easy enough to take another couple of mm's if needed. There is a lot of strength in that area so flex may be deferred elsewhere, here's hoping anyway Regards Stephen
