  8. Remember this.... Unfortunately now a bit of a u turn, recent scan result was not great, my whatever it is has grown where they are now concerned Don't know plan of action as yet as more discussion between departments, but he is pretty convinced I will be getting an operation on my lung at some point as they will be able to analyse and determine what they are dealing with Anyways that isn't now so it will be business as usual, looking to fold a rear tub for Sid tomorrow, pictures at some point tomorrow regards Stephen

  12. Oh !!!! I'm very sorry to hear that Unfortunately that is sometimes the nature of humans I guess if I'd had a lot of negative responses to build threads I wouldn't be posting either, in fact I would move forums or just not bother full stop. There is a lesson to be learnt here.......... I would love you to give posting a build thread another go sometime. I would certainly support it, there is so much learning and knowledge shared in build threads........ Oh well here's hoping. Regards Stephen
  13. Hmmmmm... Where's the build thread for this @Arjan Regards Stephen
  14. It needs found so it can fester on Sid........lol Just winding you @Ed Poore regards Stephen
  15. Yep shocks will be outside going to fold a new tub floor and wheel boxes regards Stephen
  16. Plate store consulted... I have a sheet of 2mm aluminium which I can use, I have some 1mm but that will not be strong enough me thinks to withstand stuff getting chucked in the back also I want to keep the 1mm in case I need to make panels for my future double cab project At least with the 2mm I will minimise joints as I can fold to more of less fit the whole of the tub regards Stephen
  17. Sorry Ed thought I had replied just hadn't hit the submit button I guess, info there now regards Stephen
  18. Might have, will need to consult my plate store tomorrow.. I'm not overly bothered about the weight at the moment, will need to see how it performs, at the moment it's more important to get it together and see what does and does not work, lightening can be done over time at some point in the future regards Stephen
  19. As it sits at the moment with no engine etc the top of the wheel arch is 13" higher than a stock lightweight , hopefully that's going to drop several inches once all weight back on regards Stephen
  20. Remember these sheets of 3mm aluminium from my raw materials boost, they are 110cm x 90cm going to use them to make a new tub bottom and sides 100mm narrower than stock this will keep suspension modifications outside the rear tub altogether Regards Stephen
  21. Starting to get closer, yeah its all got to come off again, but let me have my little moment.... regards Stephen
  22. I take it the little green things load bay is massive...lol Neither you or me are going to be moving loaded pallets around.... Regards Stephen
