  1. Has anyone else heard that 07 model Defenders do not require wading kits
  2. I had a set of These on a previous Defender,, certainly an improvement,, and under half the price, came with no bulbs if i remember right !!
  3. No seen the l/h front door then ,, For a standard Rangie on mud's,, you did well today,, was certainly more greasy that normal !!

For a racer etc, you would get away with them,, I looked at them, and have used grp wings on rally cars in the past, with not problems,, fits a bit debatable, but then, they are going on a Defender !! For off road use, think they are a no-no, will damage fairly easily, and will look a darn sight worse that a alloy wing with character dents much sooner,,

  16. Yep,, deduced a dicky alternator on the way back,, Jim, being Jim.. enjoys water,, and we found some on Sunday,, so glad it screwed up whilst Jim was driving and not me,,

You could say so, similar ,, yes,, But, a marine anchor is used to hold a length of chain, to the sea bed, this in turn then hold the boat, with 3 to 5 times the depth let out, so most of the chain is lying along the seabed,, A ground anchor, has a direct pull on it A 10/15 tonne ,, 40 foot boat, will only have about a 15kg anchor, to hold say 30 meters of chain,,

  23. Hey, not offence taken Baloo I ran a 2 door pick up for a while but if using for challenge events etc, they make a great tree magnet, hence now running tray back "style" Two other choices, like mine,, or like the Bishtail, As Baloo says, all down to what you need from the vehicle
