No you don't Due to block exemption ruling which came into force in 2002, you are entitled to take your vehicle to any "competent " repairer, and so long as they follow "manufacturer-approved standards" the manufacturer has to honour the warranty conditions, In fact, some makes have been "OK" with it for nearly 10 years,, Have yet to see any manufacturer's goodwill, when the warranty runs out,,
  3. They are Kev,, In 19" found them noisy on the road, compared to BFG's and not so grippy in the mud !!

Great stuff, only 3 days work,, at least !! , Just cranked up mine, and still working OK,, have MM, Auto route and Raytech marine, on the BT,, all running at the same time, via Fransom gate, So that Module above, must have been a GPS unit,, now the test is ,,if it will work in the 90, without another receiver !!

  10. No idea Mark, to the actual temp reached, never had any drive issues Only need 2 pieces of info,, High water temp and low oil pressure !

Been using a 06 year 90 for the last few weeks, but jumped in the 07 today for a trip to Torbay,, !! a total pleasure compered The gearbox is far superior to any of the previous Defenders i have own or driven, nowhere near as agricultural, Maybe i have a good one, as no gear change issues, nice and smooth,
  14. James can not say i have seen a BT GPS receiver with a USB as well, best you check Darren Site Here Now mine is working via BT, through the gpsgate, may upgrade my Tom-Tom one as well
  15. No point in "chipping in" then, as you have had a 90, so know, you will lose the refinement of the X5 !! (if it had any ) but the 07 is an improvement over your 90

  19. In that position on mine, is the socket for a ear piece ?? Just up from the HD drive Nothing like that in the manual, but looking like a GPS receiver ??
  20. Just so happens , i have a new one of these , done by Southdown,, was going onto the Hybrid, but another of never getting round to it, so could be for sale
  21. Never got better than 25 mpg from any previous 300 auto Discovery's !! Certainly the rack does not help !!
  22. Hybrid is on rockers, Rangie on toggle think i prefer the rocker, As Mark says, rockers more fitting to the Bishtail's surrounding
