  1. Mmm if asked, would I do it again ?,, If just the road/lane routes, probably not, for the weekend "crack" most definitely The adventure route No, unless in a full shinny vehicle X-Trem maybe just for the trail sections XX-Trem yes !! Certainly glad was able to get upgraded to XX,
  2. Just had to be done,, 11090 total
  3. Fitted a gen wire kit on the last but one Defender,(04 110 DC) cost was around £ 15.00 odd, about 18 months ago, (also would not fit in the "hole" without pissing about !) When i bought the current one, did not have a towbar, so ordered a gen one, again with the wire kit, around march this year,, came out at £ 60, for the same kit,, so was returned post haste,, All i can work on, is that, even a gen volvo kit, which has a load more to it, is only £ 20 ish , Think LR are having a larf !!
  4. more that likley,, but bet he could do a better job of the current one

  10. Some suggestions would be appreciated,, Have a friend with a Range Rover,, but no normal one !! A 3 door extended wheelbase/roof etc, she was running a 2.5 diesel manual , now has a 4 lt diesel auto, and the ride height is all over the place, and dives under braking, She weights in at 2400 kgs, aprox 1160 rear 1240 front, the springs on her at present are red/white l/h front and red r/h front, can not see any markings on the rear, bar for being all blue, Friend tows a big trailer with 3 horses aboard, so the rear need to be a bit heavier, What I need is some suggestions, in what springs to fit to all four corners, to give a standard ride height, allowing for the towing she does Any ideas out there ?? please !!

Just worked out the trip to Belgium, towing the hybrid, with the TD5 110,, 55-60 mph , 650 miles at almost 20mpg,, and that included the last 100 miles from the M25 last night with a empty trailer (another story !!had to drive the hybrid back under 10mpg, but who cares !!)
