  1. only simple when you've found the problem part, good to hear your wobbles have gone
  2. further to the above, I recently replaced the front OME shox, ordered new N45's but got N115's in their place, just thinking the N45's may have been superseded by the N115 version.
  3. Reckon the best way is to remove the cable & compare it to both the RR & Disco Tdi cables, SWMBO will have to get the bus or walk
  4. my engine is completly standard & it doesn't give me a headache.
  5. If you don't get any joy, try these EPC tells me the part number is 17H8764L seal x 4 for front calipers, local main dealer should be able to supply the correct seals using that number, hope you don't have to wait for to long.
  6. I won't mention my post then I found my 200Tdi's turbo seems to spool up qucker than with the old centre box & gives me more room to swing spanners when under the 110
  7. I'll 2nd the last reply Les fitted one in my 110 when we did the clutch before Xmas.
  8. local garage or Alisport near you would most likely fit the new one into the housing for you,
  9. probably your best chance would be from ebay or a wanted ad in the LR mags. welcome to LR4x4 hope you like it here
  10. Does it look like item 29 in this parts page
  11. dayco make the genuine belts for LR
  12. This one also has made in Canada embossed into it (see pic 2), it's getting a overcoat to protect it.
  13. Ok, wasn't sure of your location when it all went wrong, as the pulley was still in it's correct place, It'll be fine.
  14. even more reason to fit a new cable.
  15. I'd go for a new one, then it'll be fine for years. make sure it's not from a 300 or Td5 vehicle as the transfer box end is different & won't fit a earlier vehicle
  16. mines done that before, you need NRC5088 I believe Si @ X-eng keeps these
  17. Ah, that make more sense, is the tensioner free running ? is the cam timing gear & it's bolt secure ? [mine came undone & killed 4 pushrods] is the cam gear keyway & woodruff key/cam recess undamged ? only other cause I can think of is that the belt tension was to tight & caused the belt prematurly fail.
  18. OH more expense. could you do a rough drawing and upload it in lieu of a photo.
  19. Cheers Sean, so with a few coats of galvafroid it should live for many years
  20. confused by 'spanner roll' do you mean the tensioner, 200Tdi's are normally very kind to their timing belts, yours must have sucked in water to bend the conrods, usually if a timing belt breaks only the rocker pushrods get bent.
  21. OK, Jamie, mines getting protected further as I've mentioned above, it should last for ages then, current tank is weeping between the tank bottom & stone guard, I'll sort that & either keep it as a spare or sell it on.
