    Did you check the rocker arms I've found the hardened push rod seat in the rocker arm loose. I replaced the rocker and the tapping noise dissapeared.
  5. We had Police spec springs on our old Rangie, Brilliant for towing and was more stable when we upgraded the shocks too match.
  6. I used to use CO2 but changed to Argoshield and what a differance I know it's expensive if you don't use it regularly (bottle rental and all that) but in my opinion it's worth it.
  7. I've planned to use an electric fan but would this need to be constantly running or on some sort of thermo switch? Is that right that you can't overcool an auto???
  8. I want to replace the "toilet brush" oil cooler with radiator type cooler and re-locate it behind the cab (90 - trayback) What size cooler do I need?
  9. Looking good Nige, I managed to unpack mine this weekend but ended up doing more DIY......Gonna try again next weekend as I have an outdoor workshop and will have to wait for Him upstaits to turn the lights on.
  10. I'd go for removing the gearbox cover and give it a good lube but then make a point of selecting high/low etc periodically to keep it free.

  13. North Off Road have made me an excellent cage really pleased - Worth every penny
  14. Geniune Polybushes are a must I've seen cheaper ones fall too bits in no time at all. I've fiited "blue's" to everwhere except the shock absorbers where i have used original rubber ones and the "A" frame where i've used the harder "Orange" bushes.
  15. PROCOMPS !!!!! I know of a vehicle that has driven hard in some extreme condtions and is still on it's original set after several years.
  16. I ordered a complete cage/trayback and wing set and it took about 4 weeks but I'm sure Shaun (North off road) would keep the wings as stock items. Another supplier I can highly recomend.

  19. I had a delivery from paddocks the other day,All the parts were correct and they arrived when they were meant to. Very helpful.

  21. At last a championship which caters for differant standards of vehicle AND team members, I have some experiance with challenge events but the driver who I will be competing with isn't experianced in this type of event at all. Will we be in the novice class?

  24. I've recently ordered from Paddocks, I found the guy in the phone very helpful and pointed out a couple of parts I needed for the job I was doing but had forgotten to ask for.
  25. I've been a forum memeber for nearly two years but haven't posted very much. I have found it very annoying having to post 20 times to view the members vehicles that i have had free acces to uo until now. I guess I'm just going to have to start posting...........Thanks!!!!
