I was there marshalling, I had a brilliant time! It lloked like fantastic fun to fly round the course at full pelt, but I think I'll leave the speed to those who handle fear better than me - If i tried that kind of off roading I'd deafen everyone!

I'll be arriving late on Fri night - save me a beer! I'll be bringing my maps, but I'm not sure if any of the lanes I have marked have been recently TRO'd (and I don't have the time to check). Can anyone advise...? cheers!

I voted yes - but then I doubt very much whether I'd be approached! I take the point about not wanting a mag to use our threads for nothing, and I agree that permissions should be sought before publishing. I assume the feature that LRA are intending would be an abreviated version or summary of the thread, so I can't see how all the contributors to a thread would be approached for permission. So I guess everyone who used the forum would have to agree before they joined that anything they wrote may be used in a mag. Hmmn - looks like I just changed my mind!

I personally think it's only gentlemanly to let lady drivers have the right of way. I fully expect to be allowed to que jump at traffic lights, get in the right hand lane at a roundabout to turn left and barge my way through, oh and my favourite is to take up two parking spaces cos I can't park in just one tiny space. I am a woman, I am blonde, therefore it's my right.

I do have a little nit pick about the last couple of Heritage shows. I think the food and refreshments were dreadful. I realise there aren't many vegetarian Land Rover owners, but surely not everyone wants burger / sausage / fish and chips. Ok at Sodbury you expect and accept it, but not at an organised show. So would it be possible to have a healthy (er) option van? I guess I could always bring my own
