  1. No notifications again grrrrr ok I'm out right now here's what I can see so far, no visible cracks or leaks on the hub cap, looks like leakage on the drum so may be breather? How to check its clear/blocked?
  2. Not sure what make, my friend had two spare in his garage, we tried one and it split, put the second one in hot water and it clipped on better. It's tomorrow's job for sure !
  3. Finally got an email notification ? New cap was put on about a month ago, still the same result. I'll double check for splits cracks, was under today finishing one side of rubbing down and painting the chassis to protect it. I'll see how the weather is tomorrow and get onto this leaky hub ??
  4. Thanks guys, I'm not sure why I'm not getting notifications of replies, it's selected to email immediately. Hmmmmm its leaking on the outside only. I'll get it off tomorrow and have a good look. RTV is on hand ??
  5. Ok, so if the flange is leaking, gasket needed or flange itself? What parts would I be better to replace here? Sorry i just want to do a good job on the beast.
  6. Don't have a better picture at the minute but the oil is leaking onto the wheel at the rear....
  7. On the rear offside the wheel is soiled with what looks like EP90. So I'm guesssing one of the seals are gone?
  8. I'm like buses, nothing for ages and then two posts come along ..... ? Ok I reckon I've got a leaky rear axle offside. Are there any kits available to breathe new life into it?

  10. The spacer to make sure the arm of the lift pump doesn't get damaged on the lobe of the shaft? Does anyone have the proper part number? Or...... is it a case of anyone will do as long as the spacer etc is used? cheers
  11. Now I've hit a snag, the picture below is the lift pump I have on my 1987 2.5 n/a engine. but searching for lift pumps there seems to be different variations. Would ther be a difference due to mine being ex army?

  13. As the title says guys, I think I've got a leaky lift pump on my 2.5 n/a diesel. Is it a hard job to do or straight out and in? Cheers. ??
  14. Yes to be fair they do seem to show signs of rust along the lower legs...... I'm a geek I think and rub them with 3 in 1 every now and again. Protects and brings em up niioce ??
  15. Having had pro comps on my last Landy...... I've now got terrafirrma on my 110. I'd say the terrafirma are better. They cope better with handling at higher speeds (50 mph). They seem a better quality. Just my opinion though.
  16. Evening guys and gals, Looking on the Allbrit parts lists, it says I need RTC3626, but is this for right hand side of vehicle ? Is the left hand side cylinder RTC3627? I was was wondering if it's left/right hand drive? Cheers ??
  17. Hmmm, which one of the 6 selector switch activates it?..... if it's activated with the "flap", what part connects and disconnects? I'll get a better look at the weekend, and more time to research, I'll try a few "lamps" (that's a job!!) and I'll have a look at fuses, I haven't got round to looking into the convoy light yet...... maybe they're linked?

  19. Ralph no it's not this one, 12v, my Photobucket is playing funny buggers so can't upload a pic. It's small with a hatch type centre bit.
  20. I've had a search and can't find anything to satisfy what I'm after, I've got a map light on the dash as I'm sure many of you have and know about. New bulbs arrived today, so out I go all gidddy to fit one, wow, what a fiddly job that was !! So,after putting the new one in I then thought, "how do you actually switch it on?" So that's what I'm after guys, looking forward to getting it working ?

  22. I've got one of each, both lift up from the outside but the passenger door has an interior button too.
