  1. Thanks! Might steer clever to avoid any issues of "you haven't paid!"
  2. http://dorsetrover.co.uk/tidworth-driving-day/ I assume the byway on northern and western perimeters are unaffected by this? Planning to lane around there that weekend. Will it be barrier taped off?

  4. Yes, online map doesn't show any TROs see here for closures: http://php.wiltshire.gov.uk/row/closures/closure_search.php Monthly Plain access news: http://www.collingbourne-ducis.com/SPTA/index.html
  5. Not sure what you mean by central road? If you mean the main one N from the Bustard then that is always open when red flags are not flying as its a BOAT with no TRO. The link you posted is for the existing network (as shown on current OS maps). Some of the routes will change when this comes into force. See maps 3 and 4 on the MOD site. If you are unsure of any aspects of legal laning / Salisbury Plain then I recommend you hook up with a club/group/individual who does. I did it the "hard" way and did it myself via the online county council maps/ council TRO list / paper OS maps / RoW officer contacts to be 100% sure in my mind I was legal and safe (beware UXB!!! ). If you mess about up on the Plain you will be caught / reported by others and potentially have your motor taken away.for good! That said, on the ground up there there are a multitude of tank tracks and BOATs so navigating is not the easiest task. I invested in a Memory Map 2800 backed up by paper maps etc so I know I'm on the "right" track.... HTH Rob

Might help your Heritage Lottery funding application. Cheers Rob
  7. That looks very familiar! Well done! No back seats going in? I had to use seatbelt mounts from an Ali floor model as the 4 door ones differ a lot....
  8. Is there not some sort of e-petition to No.10 that can be set up like other campaigns???
  9. I agree ^^^^^ YRM all the way.......
  10. Hi TJ! Cheers for the reply.....Petersfield based so Odiham is OK. I need someone who knows their beans and is proven. A ramp would help I guess too
  11. Bottom of chassis needs plating near rear axle.....my new welding skills aint up to it...... Can anybody recommend a decent welder who can help me out? Thanks in advance Rob

  14. Cool. I used: http://www.caravan-components.co.uk/epages/BT2955.sf/?Locale=en_GB&ObjectPath=/Shops/BT2955/Products/SBM015&ViewAction=ViewProductViaPortal Post some more pics when done.........
  15. Did you get Z supports from AL Services? Have you offered up the Ali floor yet? Mine just clears the tank pipe fittngs. I put an extra cross member at that spot to provide some local support to stop floor flexing and damaging the unions. The Ali floor doesn't have the inspection plate and "flat area" around the tank fittings like the steel version has........just something to watch out for on Ali floor fitting. I used Tek screws to attach to Z sections to aid easy removal. Also use a butyl sealant and NOT a PU sealant.........PU will glue it forever....
  16. Don't worry, their reputation is well known locally......
