Simon_CSK
Is it possible to reprogram a remote fob for a Disco 2? I have a spare from another car and need it for my current car.
Ally V8
Not with Testbook, unless you have the original barcodes for the fob. But Nanocom will happily do it from the code inside the fob on the little piece of paper stuck to the circuit board. Five characters long from memory... JohnnoK
I did mine with my Nanocom using the code on the sticker. 6 digits, if I recall.
ThreeSheds
Lynx instructions seems to imply that you can do it without any numbers - you just have the ignition on and the lynx thing in the correct mode and press the keyfob (each of them) (16 times?)... There is a video showing it being done for a defender but they say it works for other cars too... It would be nice if anyone can confirm thatt this works for the Discovery 2 though... There are cases when the conversion table works as to convert the short code into the long one, it didnt work for me with hawkeye but i've seen posts where it was confirmed to work, worth a try if nanocom is not available this one disco2_fobcode_2_Barcode.xlsx

Seems not many Testbooks around now,the main dealer close to me has one that doesn't work. Much more likely to be Nanocom's or similar available. It is easy to add a key with Nanocom Evo. Griff
