hurbie Posted May 1, 2020 Share Posted May 1, 2020 hello all , i got my radius arms back from sandblasting and painting , so fitted the remaining parts , to keep everything together. i ordered new nuts (M20 NY120041) these fit the threads but are very sloppy fit , i guess some 1-1,5 mm "play" on the threads .....this can't be right . is it possible they fitted imperial radius arms to this 110 (1985) ? i'm not good at measuring imperial but it looks like 3/4" inch ... so wat nut to order ?? If it is 25 mm, it is M20. Except.... 3/4"-UNC is 10 threads per inch. 25.4 mm for 10 threads. You need a thread gauge to tell for sure. Regardless, 3/4" is 19 mm and that is not 19 mm. hurbie Posted May 2, 2020 Author Share Posted May 2, 2020 the threads measure 25 mm for 10 turns , so it must be M20 ... but if the 3/4" UNC is 19 mm , then it would be possible to retread it to 3/4 .... that would give me a tight fit without the need to look for replacement radius arms .
