landroversforever
I'm having some issues with the fitment of the replacement rear panels on my tub, either side of the door. The problem stems from the depth of the return thats folded into the panel for the rear door seal. My old panel gives me about ~16-17mm from the rear face of the panel to the face of the seal part. But the replacement panels have about a 20mm step which means they then don't line up with the back edge of the wheel box or the bottom/back edge of the tub. A couple of friends have measured later tubs: 19mm on a Puma 19mm on an N-reg 300tdi '03 Td5 he's going to remeasure as he came back with 16 but that doesn't tally up being in the middle of the above ages! So what year have you got and whats the dimension?

ianmayco68
I’ve fitted replacements to both of mine Ross , I’ll measure them tomorrow for you. I don’t remember having any problems though , and I’ve got a 200tdi and a300tdi .
landroversforever
Thanks Ian! Whilst I don't trust anything on my tub, the flanges on the wheel top top face and inside face both seem 100% factory... but just don't line up with the new Bearmach panels. Everything else on the panel is fine, just that part which doesn't line up.
ianmayco68
Here you go Ross , that’s off the 90 110 would be the same as bought the panels from the same place.
landroversforever
Thanks Ian . How strange that mine seems to be different to everything else . @Mo Murphy what age is the tub on your 90? is it the original or a replacement?
Mo Murphy
Mine is a TD5 era tub Ross, I can measure it when I get home if you need. Mo

western
My left panel/wheelbox was replaced about 12 years ago, but AFAIK its a genuine LR panel.
