Guest diesel_jim
I bet they were fitted to what was the old "Agrover 110" in the 80's... a sort of hi-cap shortened portal axle mini tractor thing with 3 point linkage and a rear PTO. nice though! Sure looks like a cheaper approach to ground clearance than Volvo portal axels.......... I just wonder how many sets of those were made and where are they now? robhybrid
well that one hasn't got any pretty blue annodise how much cheaper does that make it?
will_warne
Well, given its an earlier one, I'd say its worth arround 50-65% of the new price.
Neil Marshall
Excellent way to warm the bidding up - tell your friends!! But some interesting stuff - fancy just having those portal axles lying around! They're going to go for shed loads! Chris & Rob, will cross my fingers for you. darthdicky
Rob, not sure what transfer box you're using but it looks like it might only work on a 1.2 box - see on Devon4x4 Richard
robhybrid
That underdriver on e-blag obviously wasnt for me I bid £905.55 but the winning bidder achived had it for £920. Looks like I shall have to save my pennies for a little longer. After the next event (awdc) I shall be open to offers on my current crawler transfer box. (Sensible ones only) As I will be after money to go into my underdrive pot. The crawler box is a fantastic bit of kit that I can highly recomend, mine having currently done arround 6000 miles and 8 winch challenge events. My reason for wanting to change is to have a greater choice of gears and a faster reverse when in low ratio.
will_warne
I saw that, Rob. You were unlucky.
