Battery cut off

I don't remember where I saw this but has anybody seen a gadget to fit to the battery terminal or lead that cuts off the battery before the voltage drops to a point where it will not start the vehicle. I sometime need to leave things connected to a 12v source while I am away from the vehicle and it always worries me that I might come back to a flat battery. I know I could fit an extra battery with a split charge but this seemed an easier and probably cheaper option.

C'mon Ralph read the post again, drakes wants a device that stops electricity (powering accessories with the engine off) flowing from the battery once it reaches a certain voltage so that the car will always start regardless.

not what he says above ^^^ he either wants a full battery isolation switch that shuts off everything or the type that allows power to a clock or radio memory, can't shut everything off & have stuff still running .

What he wants is a device that will monitor the battery while items, like for instance a CB radio, are consuming power then switch them off if the battery gets to a discharged point beyond which it would not be able to start the engine.
