sas pinkie Posted October 29, 2011 Share Posted October 29, 2011 I am currenlty trying to get the heated front windscreen in my wolf working. At the moment the fuse for the screen (fuse number 19) keeps blowing. Its a 15 A fuse. unplug the screen and the fuse doenst blow. I have checked the main supply cable to the screen, and it doesnt have any shorts to ground. Any other thoughts? I havent measured the impedance yet, but could some one measure thiers so I have somthing to compare it too.... Its a two terminal, Td5 type screen. with the supply on the drivers side and the earth on the passengers side. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

chris200100 Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 Sorry to step in on this post but could you wire a front screen to wiring for the rear screen if your disconnect the rear one as the rear one on mine the glass is knackered and was going to replace with a no heated one I got lying around in my garage.? nickwilliams Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 The front screen uses about three times the current of the rear one, so no, I would not wire a front one direct to the rear screen wiring. sas pinkie Posted October 31, 2011 Author Share Posted October 31, 2011 ok, cheers, I will upgrade the fuse, I used a 15 Amp fuse because the wolf circuit diagram and the fuse layout on the cover both say it should be 15Amp....
