Auto helmet, saves the danger

yes, i have 2, one which doesent come light enough, and one that is much better for tacking, but wont go dark enough and gives you a headache after a few hours welding

hows your series dodgem going on anyway?

More for the in-car toolbox than the workshop, but Clamptite is one of my favourites.

Very simple tool, but with a small roll of wire, makes neat and very strong emergency replacements for jubilee clips and similar.

Love this, I have a foll of lockwire but this is the tool to use for pipe fixing.

Marc.

If it doesn't go light enough it's either not adjusted/adjustable for MIG, or its knackered - had one the same looked at last week, verdict was 'dead'!

You mean Kettle? She's all back on the road thanks, still not right but she's running fine, hasn't given me a bit of trouble since

Its always hard for me to part with cash but my sealy auto welding helmet was around £80 but worth every penny.

And some of the tools i have in my box that im always glad to have are:

Jubilee clip flexi driver

saves so many bleeding hands!!!!

And this bad boy http://www.toolmanyardley.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=871 I know its a sin to use a shifter but its the best i have ever used.

And i always pick this up before a screw driver saves hours of swearing or ending in the corner crying and asking god why he hates you.

Also good ate speedgas helmets but EVEN better

Is the "cheater" lens inside

Rather than just the normal view through the helmet

You add a cheater lens and it magnifies the area 1.5 2 orin

my case in my TIG helmet 2.5x the size

http://www.ukwelder.com/shop2/shop_index.php?page=mag_lens

Speedgas do their own but above have supplied mates and he loves them too !
