Put your engine on TDC

then post up a picture of the trigger wheel and VR sensor / wheel / tooth gap

as Bowie says sounds timing !

Tghere are "2" TDC, PROPER TDC where both valves on No 1 cylinder are closed and the "Other" TDC which the exhaust stroke andwill see one

valve open letting exhaust gasses out

Rocker cover off time - No 1 cylinder TDC + PICTURES

Triple check your plug wiring, for it to backfire I would think your timing is WAAAY out.

i will do this again, because i think you have right, but i have already do this 2 time, but .........one more time is better, and with pics for you

ok, so we do agree, my wiring is wrong, I think my mistake is that the shema I have read the colors of cables to put in front of the pin number, but I think that with these jacks, the numbering is reversed

I go back tomorrow night so my rocker cover, my Plenium, and I especially commend phase cables of the coil supply JUMO as your schematic, and I think it will be good,

So if it can serve, well read and reread the new explanation and especially not rely on the numbers taken on impervious

i have verified my timing on the pulley, and it is 10 without touch anything

I have change the table with Nigel'table timing and this is good

now, do correctly the wiring in the car and for you, explain me how tuning :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

i will finish my new plenium before, i have start with the genuine

Sounds sweet, not bad guess on the MSQ in the ECU, even tickover is not bad !

1 x bit of advice (other than to tiday the wiring "a Bit" :P ) BIN THE K&N - they are very bad !

Find a 300 TDi Defender Airbox and add one of those with a new decent air filter, far far better for long engine life

K&N are to filtering what Britpart are to Quality parts

I really need to have one derivation of air with idle adjustment screw? on this model because it has not ny, so what are the stepping motor can manage own idle??

also, I want to vapors in the engine air box? I can do?

this is THOR butterfly, so not idle screw

I prepare now for the derivation of the air stepper motor

comme j ai pas trouver de truc, je pense aussi a la vis de richesse de ralenti, je me tord le cerveau, et je trouve dans le fond du garage une plaque d alu de 3 cm environ d epaisseur

oui je réfléchie aussi a une came d'accélérateur, c est pas fini , c est pour tracer la fixation de gaine d accel, et me donner une idée du recul

alors aujourd'hui mis en place de tout, déjà pour commencer j en avais marre d'attendre pour la soudure alu, donc j ai essayé ça

essai sur une plaque avec un bec butagaz, verdict que dalle, car je n'arrive pas à atteindre les 390°

donc je passe chez un pote qui a un chalumeau, essai sur deux plaques d alu identique

******, je fais comme dans leur vidéo, je prend une clef anglaise et essaie d y casser, ben ******, ca tiens méchant, d ailleurs c est toujours en place sur la plaque d alu de chez mon pote.

because if i register me on my laptop , and i use an another laptop for tuning, how i must do ? can i use the key register on 2 different laptop ??

I do not understand, my afr gauge is not working properly, or the needle does not rise, it works either way random, so you could watch the video in the previous post (post 169), to give me advice, thank you

to I have try to record on Megatune,

file _ reccord - and give a name

but i don't found it on mlv ?????

The AFR gauge does not mean much unless you have a wideband O2 sensor. With a normal one it is only showing "rich" or "lean", you should ignore the numbers. Narrow-band sensors work almost like a switch, they show about 1v if you are rich, about 0v if you are lean, and about 0.5v at 14.7:1, everything else is uncalibrated.

You don't need to register the software, however, I threw some money in the direction of the developer as I thought it was worth it.

As for two laptops - you'll have to ask the developer for the 'legal' answer, however from a moral standpoint I can't see the problem with using the same key on two laptops if you're using both. You can't really use both at the same time!

The relevant part from the licence agreement is ....

'The standard retail MegaLogViewer License registration agreement covers one (1) user installing the application on up to 3 computers for their own use.'

also...

'You may install the unregistered version of this software on as many computers as you are using for your own personal use.'
