CwazyWabbit
I think they are just standard truck door latches, parts are available to make up in whatever height you need.
steve200TDi
It look a bit like the locking mechanism you see on container ships, maybe you can adapt/fabricate something? Steve

CwazyWabbit
There must be places in the UK that build truck bodies or repair containers.

landroversforever
You could always try companies such as Alloy Bodies who build van and lorry bodies. Can't remember the manufacturer of our fridge trailers or bodies.

heath robinson
In fairness, you could try somewhere like rush green commercial breakers. Hack it down to size, find a friendly tiggist to reacquaint the ends with the shortened shaft. Rush green ain't the cheapest, but they have an astounding array of gubbins. http://www.rushgreenmotors.com/home.htm
