Anderzander
I've never actually bought any rags - but all those that have made their way to me have been used up ..... So I wondered where everyone gets theirs ? Do you buy bundles ? Cheap sheets ? Any suggestions folks ?
mmgemini
I don't use rags. The threads can get left in things. I use paper towel.
Wingnut
I wear mine. Try to find somebody that services the old fashioned roller-towel machines that are still left in use - they often have clean refills that are not in a fit state (tear wise) to reinstall into the machines. For a small token they make good rags. Peter.

Cynic-al
Buy them in bails from Humber merchants or chafers which are a local hardware supplier. You get different grades depending on the colour, if they have pockets or emblems etc. I also keep a few big rolls of paper and pyrasorb
landroversforever
I normally use blue roll paper towels. But sometimes use rags in the form of old (clean) boxers where the elastic has gone.

Anderzander
Thanks everyone ! Loads to go at . Though I think my wife would be annoyed if I got a girlfriend ? I'll have a look on eBay for a rag bundle and one of those big blue roles of paper towel.
