My question is this: At what point did the inadequate headlight wiring stop being a problem? I have TD5 harnesses on my build. I think someone complained that the terminals just pulled off with hands....Crimps that I've given a good yank on have held firm, exposed crimps have heat shrink on so I released one from the fuse holder to get a picture of it. Mind you ive also been looking at post #6 at http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=65264&page=1 This would be neat as i dont need to have any of the old original wiring in place. CwazyWabbit Posted December 26, 2014 Share Posted December 26, 2014 Yep I bought it on the grounds that for less than a tenner delivered I could solder the connections back on if they were rubbish and it would still work out cheaper than buying the bits in this country. For your application where you are doing a complete rebuild I think I'd be tempted to do as suggested in the post you link to, there will be less connections in the wiring so it will be more reliable.
