need4speed
Where did that thread go? Im presuming a tad advert-heavy for the mods liking? Not surprised to be honest....
ejparrott
It was..there's a post in Announcements...must admit, I never even picked up on the advertising issue....
Hebdo
I can still view it in modified builds special projects. A mod must have originally approved it. As if you've less than five posts they are approved before going up. I thought it was a bit advert ish. But no direct references that I noticed. It is interesting though. I didn't know the Teflon swivels were carp for heavy use until I read it. I then searched on here about them. It helped me out as I now now not to buy them. Snagger
Really? I thought it was written by a BM manager, it was so heavy with the photos and references. To be honest, I thought they lost all credibility because of it. Shame, because it might be an interesting read, though it certainly wasn't the "rebuild" or "build" that it claimed, just preparation. I wish them every success in their travels, though - I wish I could do the same. One day...
Daan
Thread now deleted completely, as the original poster was warned about spam, and not changed his ways; This is not the LRO magazine! Daan

CwazyWabbit
Thanks Daan your efforts are appreciated, those that really want to follow the advertising overlanding progress can follow on virtually every forum and form of social media out there. It was like we'd turned into some sponsored magazine
