Maverik
I'm sure it probably tells you in here... http://gnarlodious.com/vanagon/bosch_pump/Bosch_VE_Pumps.pdf
Yolandi
Thanks, little confused, under VE pumps, max nozzle pressure says 1,200/350 bar, what does this mean?
western
I would suggest staying with the original or new original spec pipes, they will have been pressure tested at manufacture to ensure a good safety margin.
ejparrott
The pressure of the fuel as it's sprayed in to the combustion chamber at a guess, that's where the nozzle is
Yolandi
Right, the hose im looking at is max operating 1000psi and 3000 burst, would this be suitable?
western
Thanks, little confused, under VE pumps, max nozzle pressure says 1,200/350 bar, what does this mean? Defender workshop manual states injector working pressure as 1st stage 200atms & 2nd stage 280atms, as theses are 2 stage injectors made by bosch. 200 atmosphere [standard] = 2,939 pound/square inch 280 atmosphere [standard] = 4,114pound/square inch IIRC these pressures are within the injector body. Chambo110
Resurrecting an old post.. Can you just remove the pipes to injectors or are they pressurised?? Looking to get injectors either replaced or cleaned up thanks
Sigi_H
Found this thread because you responded. I am curious about the result. In my eyes it doesn't work, because any hose will be to soft. You can easily remove the lines.
