  1. Best wishes to everyone for the New Year. Let's hope it uneventfull vehicle wise. (Sorry, moments lapse there, we drive LandRovers ) Griff
  2. The D2 has one on the rear Griff
  3. How much over the full mark was it? I occasionaly have it 5 or 6mm over with no problem. Allows for a little leaking But, as has been mentioned, it might be worth doing a service so you have a fresh start. Regards, Griff
  4. Could it be the crank position sensor? I've read this is one thing that can definitely stop a truck in it's tracks. Griff
  5. Hi Guys, Are you able to get it on diagnostics equipment to check the throttle pedal? It will give you readings as there may be wear in the contacts. A search on this may help further. Griff
  6. It doesn't come with one to fit the TD5 unfortunately, but do a search and you come across a universal cap that you can use
  7. I have never had any trouble bleeding any vehicle I've done using a Gunson Ezzebleed. About £18 and works off air pressure from a wheel. Keeps a constant supply of fluid flowwing whilst the bleed screw is open. I assume the master and slave cylinder are in good order? HTH, Griff
  8. The D2 TD5 is not OBD2 compliant. Need Nanocom or Hawkeye Griff
  9. The hole is under the drivers door and behind the mudflap under the A frame. Same on opposite side. The tubes come off the front sides of the sunroof housing and I assume into the A pillars. Don't know if you can see them with the trim off as I've not done this (I know you can see the rear drain tubes with the rear light units removed) However, if you say the roof is sealed, then BogMonster's suggestion makes sense. Griff
  10. Check that your front sunroof drain holes are clear. One each side well hidden underneath the A pillar. Griff
  11. Hi, Personally, if your sure it is the cable, I would replace it as the inner cable can wear a groove in the outer cable and still give you problems. Had this on m/c cables. Griff
  12. Hi, Try "Heathy" off the D2boys club site. 01206 211623/07828 278465 Regards, Griff
  13. Hi BusMan, I take it you mean the wastegate modulator & the three pipes? Griff
  14. Hi, Do a search on "injector seals". Sounds like you're loosing fuel pressure. HTH, Griff
  15. Hi, I put mine in off road mode and wash the bags with a hose to keep the muck off the folds. Griff
  16. Have you had the discs checked for runout? Griff
  17. Sounds like a wheel bearing could be on it's way out. Griff
  18. If it's loose off the engine I'd try Gunk engine cleaner/degreaser. Griff
  19. Fitted fronts to mine 2yrs/16k ago and all fine (so far!) Griff
  20. Hi Jeff, If yours has a sliding caliper I would check/clean the slide pins. Griff
  21. Hi Western, Having now seen the diagram is it not item 12? The cross member I'm on about is the one that needs to be removed if you drop the gearbox or replace the exhaust. regards, Griff
  22. Hi Folks, Tried forum search and various online part site but can not find the part number for the 8 front crossmember bolts. Thanks, Griff
  23. Hi, Like Reb78, my 04 has the sticker but no difflock. It relies purely on the traction control etc. Some earlier models were able to have it fitted as an afterthought but you'll need the item mentioned by Reb on the box. HTH, Griff
  24. Hi, From other posts I've read, the main thing is to make sure it's a Timken bearing. HTH, Griff
