  1. It's your eyes, the pics at the bottom are the signature and i'm quite surprised someone hasn't commented on them yet. Big sigs tend to be frowned upon due to the numbers of people logging on in work time.
  2. At this point would you care to take the transaction to PM's please. Forum rules state no buying/selling anywhere except in classifieds. So to keep the forum police happy and the boards tidy I'd appreciate it. Cheers both
  3. Aha time for my siggy again is it?
  4. Excellent wear characteristics, reaasonable sidewall protection, and above all they are quiet. Put a set of Colway muds on (same tread pattern) and they'll howl like a banshee.
  5. Well I just checked the list and it is not a testable item. If the tester is doing his job correctly he will probably give you an advisory. I believe the ABS light is the one that must behave itself properly.
  6. If I'm honest I would have to say I haven't done one, although I have stripped an old orignal one out. Handles, lights, sunvisors etc, possibly tops of the door seals too. I wasn't much bothered how it came out, but IIRC it wasn't what I'd call a hard job.
  7. Or here? http://www.famousfour.co.uk/new_parts/part...5-sec-intr.html or here... http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/rimmer/land-ro...trim#Headlining getting bored now, this is too easy.
  8. Here? http://www.nationwidetrim.demon.co.uk/rangerover.htm
  9. I drowned out Shed's alternator at a recent driving day and while the red light was on it ran like a sack of poo. As soon as the red light went out the engine picked back up again pefectly - and this is only a flapper system.
  10. Blimey the arrogance of that '10forcash'!
  11. Should be Black/Blue for that year
  12. Twin electric Pug 405 fans up front with these in the back of the bonnet, certainly helps keep the temp down
  13. No problem Bish, but please keep all trading in the appropriate section. Ta
  14. Don't think I've seen one like that before. What is the thinking behind a king cab 90, as room is fairly tight, is it not? Come to think of it, why a trayback either?
  15. I have written a small article for GLASS about my considerations. Laptop is too big and vulnerable for motors I feel. Phone type GPS - well I have a job sussing out the texting, so that's a non-starter. So I bought a Dell Axim X30 PDA. Runs TomTom and Fugawi (although not at the same time). 2gb memory card and hard wired. Bluetoothed Fuzion GPS mouse. I kept my old Magellan as for portable use and grid refs, it's hard to beat.
  16. One or two. I suggest joining SLROC who have all the info you need. You will also have the chance to go out on organised trips, thus experiencing responsible laning first hand before trying it for yourself.
  17. I made one of them that uses very small forked crimp connectors to plug into the fuse holder. Woks very well too.
  18. Shed has been an offroader for years and the hi-lo selection has always been difficult to ssay the least. I can vouch for the advice to change 'on the move' so to speak, it does work, although the lever is still stiff.
  19. Disconnected mine and use a flourescent strip light instead. Also done that in the Discovery too.
  20. The forum search facility is a good tool for this type of enquiry. Just type something like "V8 block problem" or "porous block V8".
  21. I'm well impressed the way you are recovering that 360. Not so sure about the angle of that bullbar, that definitely looks a bit wrong, or as we say in Suffolk, "on the huh"!
  22. Yes that's quite right, I hadn't considered that angle when making my reply.
  23. I have a 10m kinetic recovery strap. Bought from Peterboro last year, it is a brilliant piece of kit and under 20 quid. At that length I can get a line on more stranded venicles and can always double it up for a shorter pull.
  24. That looks identical to the ones they sell at peterboro LR Fest every year for £30
