Well I just checked the list and it is not a testable item. If the tester is doing his job correctly he will probably give you an advisory.
I believe the ABS light is the one that must behave itself properly.
If I'm honest I would have to say I haven't done one, although I have stripped an old orignal one out. Handles, lights, sunvisors etc, possibly tops of the door seals too.
I wasn't much bothered how it came out, but IIRC it wasn't what I'd call a hard job.

getting bored now, this is too easy.
I drowned out Shed's alternator at a recent driving day and while the red light was on it ran like a sack of poo. As soon as the red light went out the engine picked back up again pefectly - and this is only a flapper system.
Don't think I've seen one like that before. What is the thinking behind a king cab 90, as room is fairly tight, is it not?

I kept my old Magellan as for portable use and grid refs, it's hard to beat.

Shed has been an offroader for years and the hi-lo selection has always been difficult to ssay the least.
I can vouch for the advice to change 'on the move' so to speak, it does work, although the lever is still stiff.

I have a 10m kinetic recovery strap.
Bought from Peterboro last year, it is a brilliant piece of kit and under 20 quid.
At that length I can get a line on more stranded venicles and can always double it up for a shorter pull.
