It saves your mother in law getting all caught up in it and falling out the door on her face!
The belt just moves about with the seat instead: Mauch neater.
That's a shame, I am kind of looking for a broken freebie to replace the wife...
...sorry, the wife's 306.
I have a couple of RR rolling chassis laying around
Doubtful you'll get anything electronic for that age.
What's wrong with a good old workshop manual?
I bought one years ago and it's still good. It's about 2" thick and has 5 spd and auto supplements.
Much better than a cd.
Give Jon a ring at Brunel Performance and tell him Deano from SLROC sent you.
He'll sort you out for reasonable money and if you should manage to break one he would probably sell you just one for patching.

Damn good bloke to talk to, who seriously knows his stuff!
No connection other than a very satisfied customer.
Absolutely! A far better option, and not hard to fit either.
On Tiny, my old 2dr pick-up, the choke had to be on for quite some time. Once I fitted the SU's the difference in driving and economy ws vastly improved.
Very true Paintman, last week the Disco had to have a new battery. It would run both radio and warning lights without dimming but obviously a cell had gone as it would only chatter the solenoid.
As a point of interest, I don't use the specified battery for the tdi, preferring the extra amps from a 334 (which is used on 2.8 Paj/Shotgun)
All the Zenith Stromberg's I have had dealings with only have the choke on one carb, hence why they sound so awful when starting from cold.
SU's on the other hand do have a link so they both choke.
Most of the South Cambs network is TRO'd until 30th April. If the weather isn't favourable they will stay that way too. As they are now mostly gated you have no option but to comply (which if I'm honset is a good thing).
235/85x16 Colway MT's on Shed - 2" lift:
Only mods to rear were to fold up the lip all the way round, inc the door (and remove the extra seal from it)
Front arches folded too and they touch at max compression at the back sector where the body strip comes through (or did!)
It's got nothing to do with safety either, just another way for the nazi labour party to get rid of older vehicles and get you driving around the country in a faceless eurobox.
Gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling doesn't it.
When I enquire about buying bits for my motors I always ask if it's the afore mentioned 'part and won't buy if that's all that's available.
One drives a Range Rover so one has to have certain standards
Like I said, I have the info sitting here from Autodata. If you PM your email to me I'll bung the diagrams of the alignment marks and the instruction across to you.
Unlucky mate, but it's a common time for them to go I'm afraid.
Very stressful at start up and they sometimes 'chuck' a bit if the tension is low.
If you want a breakdown of what the job entails and diag's of the important bits PM your email.
However the engine is 'interference' according to Autodata so be prepared for some expense.
I thought it might be to do with the one piece floor but they did them previously to that.
I looked in my parts books and it clearly states in the 70 - 85 version, "vertical heelboard - 2 door models, angled heelboard - 4 door models".
Yep James' alloys are the right ones, I remember seeing the pics of it.
Thought I had a piccy of it but can't seem to find it.
Might still be a couple on LR Forums if you care to search for something like jjsaul + range rover
