  1. Does anybody recognise this kit? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Range-ROVER-Land-Rover-PICK-UP-S-Off-road-4x4-V8-LPG-Rare-motor-/170841720801?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item27c6f5c7e1 Can't decide if I like it or not but it's certainly different.
  2. Evening all, I have an intermittent problem where my engine will at times only run on 7 cylinders. After pulling the connectors off the injectors it looks like the socket on no.1 has been full of water for some time and the pins are badly corroded (as are the terminals in the connector). Has anybody succesfuly cleaned these up and stopped them corroding again or is it best to bite the bullet & change the injector? I've had this before on a 3.9 and no matter what I tried the corrosion came back within a week or two. Ta, Mick.
  3. Ah, Thanks Ross. I'll give them a call then.
  4. Gent's, Does anyone out there still sell rear winch mount trays for the Td5? IIRC North Off Road used to do the but they aren't listed on their web site. Cheers, Mick.
  5. I quite like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Smart-Off-Roadster-4x4-Off-Roader-/110875110197?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item19d0abeb35
  6. IIRC I used pipe with an 8mm bore. I used copper central heating pipe for most of the run with just a short piece of the proper rubber petrol pipe at either end, cheap as chips & no problems so far. HTH's, Mick.
  7. Cheers Muddy. I've just drilled & tapped an old extinguisher, works a treat
  8. He did say he doesn't have a manual...
  9. Cheers Gent's, The EP90 pump isn't my idea, I nicked it from something Muddy wrote in a previous thread.
  10. Just a compressor fed fire extinguisher based thingy for pumping EP90. Didn't know that, would prefer it to seal on the threads. Can someone confirm that the Green Oval link works please? Doesn't bring anything up for me.
  11. What is the correct drill size for a 1/four (sorry keyboard is on the blink) BSP tap chaps? Cheers, Mick.
  12. If you can go for a four.6. Unsure on the year but it will certainly mate up to a R three 80, mine's connected to one
  13. Why is a Serp three.9 (bloody keyboard!) better than an older three.9?! Didn't think the blocks were cross-bolted until the four.0 from the P thirty 8? Going to introduce this laptop to my 110 now
  14. If both your axles have lockers fitted then that is a good price... I'd have them in a shot but lockers aren't allowed in the class I run in
  15. Sorry to resurrect this but I'm intrigued on how you are using a fire extinguisher Will?! Have you drilled and tapped the body to accept an air line fitting? Mick.
  16. Don't break her! Put her back together with a full MOT & you'll get your asking price.
  17. +1 for rebuilding. At least you will know what you have then. (No disrespect to Team-Anarchy intended!)
  18. My set is by Facom. You need to bare in mind that a ratchet in that size is about 18" long so can't be used in many places. As has been said I tend to use a bar to get things moving then switch to 1/2" (unless I can get the windy gun in, never come across anything that won't shift.)
  19. Yes it is Ross. That's a good point, can't think of an easy way of getting contaminated grease out...
  20. Seems fine Ralph, My 110 is using one shot grease so I'll stick some in this as well.
  21. Cheers chaps. This axle has drain plugs in. Reason I asked is one swivel is full of grease, the other is full of EP90
  22. Gent's, Should a 24 spline axle have grease in the swivel housings? If it makes any difference I think the axles are from a RRC. Cheers, Mick.
