  3. Usually fitted to 90 CSW's of a TD5 age. Would bolt through to a tube/brace that runs front to back inside the rear tub on either side of the vehicle behind the inwards facing fold up seats. I've never seen them fitted from the factory on a 110 but no doubt they will have been!!!
  4. Gwen Lewis now sells a new greaseable joint already pressed into a new housing, its a little bit spendy but will save alot of time and hassel.
  5. If I remember rigthly in the past dogs are welcome as long as they are not on the nasty list. i.e. If it looks vicious then they have been known to ask people to leave.

  7. Heat would be my first option or The alternative would be how worn does the taper ring feel / look, when I've replaced them it tends to be the actual ball that wears. If you really need the car leave the old taper ring in pack plenty of grease in there and rebuild it. Then in the next few weeks find someone local with burning gear drive to them take it to bits heat it up etc etc etc
  8. Cap ?? Do you mean the flat disc or the taperd insert that the ball joint is pushed up against ?

Stone saws usually have a foam/sponge outer filter which can be shaken/blown clean with a I think if memory serves me rightly in your case a round cylinder type filter inside (like a very small 300tdi defender filter) that. You can bash the metal filter and most of the dust will drop out however they are not that exspensive to replace just make sure the foam/sponge outer/pre filter is a tight fit. Chainsaws do not have a filter as above its is a plastic gauze which can be split in half and blown backwards using compressed air. Just make sure that when you remove the plastic filter you cover the carb inlet to prevent and nasty's getting inside. Keep a chainsaw sharpe and the chip size will remain a reasonable size that impeads the filter less its mostly a dull chain that produces a slow cut and very fine chips that are almost powder which being lighter in weight get sucked up into the filter meaning more cleaning or a very poor running saw.
  10. Ditch the old petrol and get a sachet of stihl one shot from a hire shop. This will be red so the fuel that is in it already does have 2 stroke oil in it but the age is unknown and so is the mixture. Follow the instructions on the sachet for mixing.
  11. What sort of saw is it? Chain saw, stone saw ????? Clean out / change the air filter first and put a new plug in it.

  14. In my experience its not the bluetooth that proves to be any problem, or being able to hear the caller as their voice is normally played through the speakers that the stereo uses. Its getting good pick up of your voice so the caller can hear you. I have found parrot to be a good hands free kit as they have a hardwired mic that you can place in the cab to pick up your voice. (mines in the top right hand corner of my screen) There are now a few bluetooth stereo's available with parrot built in that come with a mic on a wire that you can place where ever you chose in the cab, I think good old Halfords sells one of these so you can go and push the buttons before you buy it. Hope thats of some help to you.

  20. Hi all I got a boost pressure gauge a while back and have been slowly, very slowly installing it. The gauage is in the dash and illuminates with the the side lights and other gauges. The pipe is connected to the back of the gauge and plumbed through the bulkhead and is currently in a neat little curl near the turbo waiting to be attached. The question really is in the title, where is the best/most accurate place to get the pressure from? Photo's would be really helpful here. I did try a search and got a little way layed reading allsorts of other topics but didnt find exactly what im after. Cheers people
  21. Arrived just after 10:00am had a wonder around bought a few odds and ends (handfull of large head rivets for £1). Chatted to a few people and headed home just after mid day. Not been before so unable to compare to previous Autojumbles on this site, I enjoyed myself and the sun was out which is always a bonus.
  22. Try to do it inside, garage, workshop or the like. I had my first go on the drive !!! Even on a dry day with next to no wind dust seems to find its way back onto your clean window. The second time I used some anti static screen spray from my computer which seemed to work reasonbly well mixed with soapy water. There are also different qualities of tint film, the thicker the better, it goes on easier and has less chace of creaseing.
