could some one help me out. I have replaced the inner wing on the discovery and it passed its mot yesterday with one advisory. However the brakes on the side where the wing was replaced are binding something rotten. I had to replace the copper brake pipe and one of the flexi hoses as part of the task. The pipe i replaced is the rear one on the master cylinder. I need to check which of the two pipes running to the wheel it fits on to be sure its plumbed in correctly. Its the offside (uK) brake which passes through the inner wing. have checked my rave cd but the picture of the pipe layout is not for a 1991 vehicle paul

on the basis i cant get out the one on the floor even with the handbrake removed i must either be doing something completely wrong or its not my day!!! its just a grip and pull task nothing like a hidden circlip ? paul

ta just annoying that i didnt do that before fitting the box. now putting the odds and sods on and found it didnt bl**dy fit !!!!! take it i can do it in situ?

failed unit is 200 tdi lt77 manual 1991 vintage. new unit is 1996 300tdi auto paul

just replaced the lt230 in the 200tdi disco with a unit from a 95 auto disco. the new unit had a transducer speedo whilst the 200tdi is cabled. HAve removed the transducer but cannot get the old cable to fit in the square hole as the end is larger than the transducer square end. Is there a speedo cable off the shelf which fits paul

i would have thought the bulkhead removal would constitute a major modification. Removing manufaturers structure which was there for a reason. Not doubting the quality of the replacement part

ave you checked the hoses from the intercooler to the engine and from the turbo to the engine. Are they collapsing? check to see if they have started delaminating. My did and they completely starve the engine of air and thus power once the turbo kicks in
