As the disarming procedure relies on the drivers door being open and shut to enter each number I think it (or poss. they) are the problem.
I think it would also mean the alarm system has not been fully functioning as well.
Take the switch out and see if you can manually do the same job as the switch by touching wires together!
Looks nice, an pretty cheap for a "specialist" tool
but you can easily make one that "does the job"
Sweep the floor in the workshop and you'll probably find 90% of the bits you need
You need a bit of angle or box section as well as the bolts.
Drill clearance holes in the angle at the same spacing as the treaded holes in the steering wheel.
Put bolts through angle into holes the wheel the angle then braces against the centre thread while you pull the wheel towards the angle by tightening the bolts.
Somtimes the wheel is well stuck on though and I have known this method to strip the thread in the wheel. Make sure the bolts are long enogh to engage all the thread in the wheel before they start pulling!
At work the
Chrysler Voyager
VW Sharan
Pug 406 Est
BMW 5 est.
Mondeo Est.
Misti.. MPV
are all bigger than my 110
I'm pretty sure my 90 is shorter than a Fiesta, our Focus is definately bigger
This has really shaken me to the core.
I can only begin to imagine the pain and anquish at their loss and offer my deepest sympathy.
I do however know that the "what if's?" play in you mind over and over and hope the surviving family have the collective strength to overcome this tragedy.
Just a "public service announcement". I don't expect a debate on the subject.
This weekend's tragic accident reminded me that we do not have one of these in our 110.
My wife is a nursery nurse/nanny/childminder and has always had one of these hammers in her car.
She now regularlly uses our 110 with our child and others and I was already accutely aware that in an emergency getting the kids out quick is far from easy.
In a real emergency it may be useless, you might not be able to find it, you might panic and forget you've got it but it might just help you get out.
Thanks for looking, Neil.
I'm just finishing off a mate's rebuild on a 110 SW. The rear seatbelts look to be original equipment. The "stalks" (just seatbelt fabric in the back) clip onto a D ring in the floor. the bit that you normally bolt through is more like a hook and has a safety latch to make the loop complete when clipped in. Not seen these before but make sense when you load stuff in the back.
Put the kiddy seat in the front.
Before we got a 110 the 90 was the only vehicle we had that would take 2 aduts, 2 dogs, baby(and seat), all terrain pushchair etc.....
Sorry Steve I don't agree.
Damage due to your own ineptitude is one thing.
damage been recovered is the same.
This is a little greyer
Any waiver (most are useless in law) will not waive claims against negligence ore wrecklessness.
Visit a solicitor, take their advice and then pay them to write a letter on your behalf.
Could be a 200tdi box with a TD filter fitted. TD filters are same construction and diameter but shorter.
If you need it and Forum relay can get if fron Andover to chichester I probably have a spare TD filter box.
On:off = 1:99
I did more than 80000 miles in the Frontera, it did a reasonable number of play days and laning trips but I doubt the total mileage on unmetaled roads reached 1000. Clocking up large "off road" miles is tough, hours on the other hand......
I lived on the edge of Salisbury plain for 10 months. If you went out for 4 hours you would be lucky if you could claim 25 "off road" miles the "road" mileage would be similar or higher!
I "think" thay are the ones that look like the yellow 110v connectors, but are blue (and a slightly different pin configuration) known as 16A 230v.
There is no provision for a fuse in them so you'll have to rely on a fuse/circuit breaker further up the line.
I would have thought if the welder was capable of 130A you would get away with a standard 13A plug though
Smart, 'cos then he'll have you ebay id, name, address and phone number to sell on to other scammers
You'll be plagued with phising emails and 419 emails and calls, unless you have a lot of spare time to dedicate to winding people up don't do it.
