No it is a D3 but no one knows. Perhaps i should explain more incase anyone has a hire car etc to play with!!!
If you turn on the radio by pressing the left knob and within 5 seconds press and hold the right knob for 10 seconds then a hidden menu comes up press again for another 10'and a second menu comes up. If you scroll through this menu you can get a voltage reading. This is what i was doing BUT I then pressed button 1 on the keypad and the voltage counter moved down by 1 from 135. My guess is that this relate to some sort of voltage control (13.5v) but i dont know what and it has made no difference to the operation of the head unit tv cd dvd etc but I would still like to move it back up. It has been suggested that it may scroll down to 0 and then back to 135 but I am reluctant to keep pressing to find out!
Does anyone know how to make the voltage counter go up on a D3 IHU on the hidden menu? I can make it count down but cannot recover it to it's starting place as I can't find out how to make it count back up.
I would suggest you have a look and see if they have a web info page. The ones on my ifor trailer are about 90-95psi. The side wall pressure is only a max pressure not amrunning pressure.
Oh well I missed out on this one as we fell off the Internet world for a bit and still sunning in France till Friday. Might come for a look see and to put rob jones off a bit
Just spoke to Gwyn as I forgot this was on!!! He said he rolled twice ha I think his reactions are just getting slow. He also said he gave Rob a pasting after last year when we beat him there. Shame on you rob you must have been slacking? I am getting bored now and need to get back out to play soon. Speak soon Roy and keep up the good stealth camera work on the old pair. John Fair
There are web sites that will give you a pence per mile running cost for most cars based on age and expected mileage over years. I cannot remember what it's called but google something like ppm running costs. You are right that it is about time the tax man put it up as it is now so out of date that you pay to use your own car for the companys profit. My D3 worked out at 60 ppm and my old z3 25 ppm. Edit: www.fleetnews.co.uk under costs car running.
We shall be going up in a convoy of one past the dealers again to look at the handbrake again. Camping in with Gwyn Lewis 4x4 and Jimbos crew. Oh and Derrick from LRS said something about beers. Might have been bears but I'm sure I heard him right?
If it is coming from the motor I have always found it to be the belt tensioner but changing it and the belt only stops it for 6k or so for on both
my 300s. I have been told this is normally due to the v's in the various pulleys wearing down so the belt starts to sit in the bottom instead of riding on the shoulders of the v.
Pics now here. Sorry about the blob of crud on the camera sensor....

suggest slow speed slideshow or it skips.
Maybeeeeeeeee. I'm a bit worried I might miss all the action as I can't get there on sat night! Still Boothy has all night to fix it! Perhaps I should bring my car with me as a spare for him......... Do we know the start time? I'm thinking 9 as everyone will be there?
This looks like a small entry of 20 in total? Where is everyone? How does this compare to last year Neil? Looking a bit like class one and three just turn up for a trophy! Perhaps the handicap system is better afterall as I know most these guys DO NOT just turn up for a trophy.
Afternoon Nobby, I think that NAJW used to do this but gave it up as a bad job due to the fact that everyone wanted him to search out the info rather than events sending the info to him. I do recall looking at it from time to time many moons ago!
Well thats poor.I saw the notice but never really looked at who's they were. So much kit being nicked these days.
Im looking at poping in for a look on Sunday and a few pics.
