  1. i have read the whole list,iwas there in 1989 and visited all the battle sites and cemeteries,it has just brought it all back to me.my brother was on hms avenger and had a very lucky escape,it changed him forever.

  4. definately 2mt sqn markings,otherwise known as elephant trucking co.they used to run out of 16mu stafford but i think that has closed down,bit out of it now as i left the raf in 1995,happy days.
  5. buy motorcycle tank nets as much cheaper and fit as suggested above,you should get two for £10.
  6. getting somewhere now,seems the ignition lock assy is u/s,key feels sloppy,even the unused spare,managed to get dash lights by moving key around slowly,not good when truck has only done 30k miles! but it is an 03 truck.have a feeling ign is same as 300 tdi,can any one confirm please,chris.

  8. thanks for the reply,s.the vehicle lights work,but no dash lights,battery power is good,does not have a feed to the ignition,does that feed come from the ecu once immobiliser is disarmed?
  9. HI,I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A TD5 90,PARKED OUTSIDE A SHOP,NEXT TO AN ATM MACHINE,CAME OUT,UNLOCKED VIA REMOTE,TURN KEY,NO DASH LIGHTS,NOTHING.THIS IS NOT MY CAR BUT A MATES,HAVE CHECKED UNDER SEAT FUSES,ALL OK.ANY SUGGESTIONS WHERE TO GO NEXT,CHRIS.
  10. take a standard pair of turrets ,cut the height down to suit what you want,weld up the top,redrill for shock bush,job done(have just done it myself)

  12. i have a genuine parts seat belt bar for a 90,hardly used £35+ carriage.
  13. i bought 500 4.8mmx12mm from screwfix yesterday(i was desperate) for £9.50
  14. i managed to break a record six inch vice doing the same a few years ago,i now use the melted rubber method.
  15. was he pleased with it ralph?it costs about £75 for a 4 litre tin,or £17.50 for a 1 ltr,i recon 2 ltrs should do the back of a 90 well enough.
  16. hi all,has any one used protecta-kote bed liner?i am refurbing a 90 which will have seats in the back and i had thought of using this as i don,t want carpet,in the past i spent £90 on a genuine rubber mat system which splits where it goes up the side of the wheel boxes,i may use ally chequer plate on the floor and this other stuff on the wheel boxes,any thoughts please.

  18. hi grant,if you have a problem with a salisbury it is not a 5 minute job to pull out and check,they also are a bit of a pain to set up on reassembley.how is the hybrid coming along?
