  1. No that’s Bowy, the ennemy 😳. He is dutch professional trader. Did not see you at all although you are not that small …
  2. I agree it was less than other years but first time I saw lots of TD5 ECU's and they ask silly money for diff's
  3. Wurth indeed, white bottle with red top
  4. Anyone from Taunton area coming to Newbury Sortout this weekend willing to bring a small package from Blackdown Offroad in change of some Belgian beer?
  5. Neat means not making the 110 longer than necessary. cross member was made by Clive Lamb at the time and is really solid I think I will try to sort out a 90 fuel tank in some weeks in Newbury and see how much space I have over
  6. Did you check/eliminate the bonnet switch? The fuel pump can be easily tested by putting an earth connection to the pump relais Is the alarm still on? download the electrical circuits diagrams and the library from https://fuddymuckers.co.uk/rtfm/Defender/
  7. I'm looking for a neat solution to add a hydraulic milemarker to the rear of my 110 TD5. I have a rear winchbumper like below but I find it too massive and does not go well together with my Southdown tankguard. Chassis is galvanized with a 6mm rear cross member Any ideas? - Would a tank of a 90 leave enough space to add the winch behind the rear cross member? - Winch tray connected to the tankguard so it is easily removable?
  8. Hello

I am looking for a valve block for my milemarker.

Do you still have your 12v version?

    Regards, Henk

  9. any chance you make them in 3,5 inch?
  10. I can buy a front axle of a 1994 RRC with vented discs and the wider front radius arms but has it a 24 spline diff or not?
  11. You could try here: https://www.vibraction.org They make very good roadbooks
  12. I mailed Dave and the answer is that there is no difference between front or rear ATB. The Belville washers are mounted exactly as on the first picture of uninformed
  13. Is there a difference in the setup of the 6 ‘satellites’ if the ATB is used in a front or in a rear diff?
  14. As far as I can see I assembled it correctly but did not know what to do with the Belville washer but that has been solved now. Thanks for the movie and pictures
  15. Just bought an Ashcroft ATB diff to go in my front axle but it arrived in pieces. Is there a schema or movie somewhere to assemble it correctly?
  16. Ross is right, we come for LR parts and it was a successfull show again. Last time we came was in 2019 and we all had still the paper banknotes … 🤢 No exchange in a postoffice or bank possible, only in an exchange office in the mall in Lutonbut we lost 8% 😓
  17. Tomorrow our shopping tour starts with a visit to Ashcroft (Luton) and then to All wheel Trim (Witney) and Saturday afternoon we go to Newbury. Are there any other interesting shops on our tour that are worth a visit?
  18. If you go to Newbury bring it with you and I will try to get a new one here in Belgium
  19. Any new developments on a hand throttle for a TD5? I found td5zilla.com.au but for the rest not much
  20. To my regret no picture evidence, will be next time
  21. This weekend I was offroading in France and had the opportunity to do the first real tests with the hydraulic winch and pto pump. First pull was a disaster: the rope slipped on the drum despite a larger bolt to secure the end of the rope on the drum (it broke off) and the red-winch strap that also should prevent slipping did do nothing. At a quiet moment I had time to wind off the rope completely and fix the end with duck-tape, then went to the other side of the drum to fix it there with ducktape again and then rewind it under some tension and then with the handbrake on under full tension. Next pull was great fun: with constant speed you can pull yourself out of every hole and when in 4th gear it's even a lot faster than every normal electric winch But you have to get used to use it correctly (diff lock in free, engage pump, put in gear and get your foot of the clutch and at the end not to forget to disengage the pump)
  22. 333,7 Gb to go You get everything so I have a remote copy just in case my nas crashes
  23. If you want to check several gpxfiles at the same time to see their track on the map you can use gpstrackeditor (download from gpstrackeditor.com) For making roadbooks I use the payable version of Rallynavigator.com, it’s online software based on google maps and calculates for you the distances between waypoints. Optionnally you can also show the coordinates of each waypoint so you can always navigate to a next point in case there is a problem
