  3. I had 16mm hoops sticking out about 75mm on my series, they saw plenty of sideways pulling and haven't bent a mm out of shape Though your rangy weighs a bit more than my series did How much would you charge to make another one for my bumper which i'm currently making ?
  4. My angle grinder decided to bite back today Half way through a piece of steel and it decides to chuck a lot of chunks of copper out of the vents Thanks to the gloves, i've only got a couple of tiny little cuts

  11. I had mine changed last week, and the guy who runs the place (LR Specialist) said change every two years if our doing a lot of off road stuff Wise words Sorry to hear about yours though, hopefully it hasn't done too much damage
  12. Thats quite impressive Was that done with steel or plasma rope ? I'm going to be getting winch web so it should spread out any wear on the fairlead They are only £14 in the states so i think it's worth a try at that price.
  13. My winch will only get used once a month max, probably once every few months, so i'm not too concerned about wear
  14. Anybody know of a UK supplier of UHMW hawse faileads ? All i can find at the moment is American stuff and some of them have quoted silly prices for shipping

  16. Yes please Bit new to all this heavy steel fabrication milarky I can work 2mm steel but 6mm is a bit more of a challenge
  17. The rad on the end, made from the same piece as the front or should i make the rad seperate and weld it on later ?
  18. Any ieads of how i can make this bend in a piece of 6mm x 100mm mild steel ? I don't have any oxy gear but i don't mind building a large bonfire
