  2. Fedima do a sirocco of the 285/75R16 that stands at 33.5'' is that the one?
  3. When you removed/replaced the head , did you have it checked for cracks ? did you have it skimmed ? did you use new head bolts ? how did you torque the head down ? IE did you use a dial gauge? was the Rad part or whole reason for needing to do the work? I'm not saying these are the problem but all can cause it. PM Les explaining what you did and why, your bound to get a reliable reply. Good luck
  4. Three of us going for the first time, am told its a good show. I see there are 43 trade stands there so far. anyone been before? what was it like last year?
  5. Did you know that they have an OD of 33.5''
  6. Hi Marc Re "(not sure if they were Fedima Trial Ade)" All Fedima tyres are a bead-to-bead reconstructed tire with all markings in the mold. So I dont think they were Fedima.
  7. Fedima off road tyres : So far have only heard good reports from those who used them for 3+ years. apart from the derogatory stuff on D44 site (but then they dont sell) I understand they are there to promote their brands, but ask those who have used them for years and you will here the truth. I hope to be at the scott williams event In July and will be running on fedimas.
  8. What... No answers yet? I dont know but someone on here must do. .
  9. Hi there andy, When I first fitted mine , it was located in the rear near side. But that lead to me discovering quite a bit of tin worm that lead me to cut the back off. I only fitted Rear Locker, as you are fitting front as well you need to find a convenient spot where both pipes flow without any really tight bends. here is a link link to Marks write up.Good idea to read this as long term you may wish to fit other items, so plan ahead to avoid conflict of space. Slow and steady, plan it well and all will be fine.
  10. Up-most sympathy it seems that nothing is sacred, and these selfish no decency types are getting more desperate for their fix. It would be nice if parts like this were able to be traced and pinned to the people who steal them. I often wonder when browsing at LR sales if they have legitimately been removed for sale. It would be so nice to see them get their comeuppance.. But I am afraid that all we can do is question when buying, but even then how can you tell? Wishing you every bit of luck in getting them back Defcol
  11. So is it how one uses them or what the truck is/ was rated at when first made? If i only poodle along at 50 mph on motorway, does that bring me inside the law,and if so what evidence is required? Does any one have a chart with the various LR manufactured max top speeds?
  12. ok so if it was not an April 1st joke, can some one explain the possible purpose for its existence and not including reflective glass to avoid being seen in it?
  13. '''''''Just a thought'''''' I was wondering if it might have something to do with the cat? my thinking on this is that my Volvo also with cat has the flexible joint. Had to replace it once as the ceramics broke and blocked the flow.
  14. Thanks Chris / Steve I am not confident on electrics and don't have any test equipment, so Looks like it is time to spend out on an auto electrician.

  22. Mark.. that's really nice and easy, and what seems cheep to make. Like it a lot but don't have a gas bottle to start with, are they easy to get?
  23. they are £172.68 each delivered tread Looks good but have been told today that they dont last long due to soft compound and week side walls. agree, if they aren't at least as per size and in fact are two inches smaller then its just a con its looking like the only one worth my money is the Fedima at least that's what the info is pointing towards have been quoted £156+7 delivery + vat a little more but with the larger OD sound like dam good value
  24. Thanks Adrian, Have just found out that they are 36.75'' that's a lot of clearance for 179.40 +delivery
