Dan D90
Does anyone know where land rover style key blanks can be purchased at a reasonable price? The cost on ebay / brit car etc is a joke! https://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php/100452/3851/key___blank_owner___defender_2007_onward Thanks, Dan
David Sparkes
I don't know specifically, but Honest John has repeatedly recommended Timpsons, the shoe repair chain. Last week a reader wrote in with positive feedback, which included the following rider: " ... It is worth noting that you need to locate a Timpsons that specialises in remote car keys. Not all do and those that do, often seem to be High Street branches, not those at Tesco. " Last item on this page. Regards.

Ex Member
Well, that is what they cost. Your request was "land rover style". If you want Genuine, there is only one price. Nobody else is allowed to use the logo.

paime
Just saw a link to John Craddock. JC have everything in stock but their website does my head in. Missing pictures all over the place which makes it difficult to find what you're looking for!

No, they tell you they have everything in stock and take your money, then leave you hanging for weeks or even months, and when you call them they then tell you they're out of stock. Then they may send you a Britpart item after charging you for genuine, and probably the wrong part anyway. Many of us on this forum have shared that experience and won't trust Craddocks ever again. Good to know! I find the old Britpart switcheroo happens with a few suppliers these days!
Dan D90
The keys arrived today, they will do aa cheap spares, the handle is made from thin plastic and would brake if you trod on it. I guess you get what you pay for.
