Asking as they seem too short and wiggle out of place - but assume you need something vaguely heat resistent etc Did later models use something better? (imagine nicked from lrseries.com!) Oakmaster Posted December 21, 2018 Share Posted December 21, 2018 There is some good stuff on here (somewhere) about adapting the ducts to vent onto the side windows too, the main problem (to me) seems to be that the actual volume of air is nowhere near enough to heat and de-mist. Snagger Posted December 21, 2018 Share Posted December 21, 2018 Another big leak is the foot well/demist flaps, which need a foam pad on their bottom faces to seal against the inside of the lower fascia when demist is selected, but the foam LR used perishes and crumbles away so most are long gone. 3mm neoprene works well, as would thin camping mat, secured with impact adhesive. It's a simple fit, needing nothing more than the removal of the foot well nozzles (two screws each) and a little cleaning of the surface before applying the glue.
