Paul64
Ripped the top of my snorkel off this afternoon when driving through multi-storey car park. Does anyone know where you can buy individual part from rather than the whole thing? Cheers, Paul

Paul64
Eventually got the pics sorted. Does anyone recognise what type of snorkel I have? As you can see I made a good job of it in the multi-storey car park!
FridgeFreezer
I got one exactly the same from Mantec, about £20-£30.

Paul64
you could have got one of these for less than half the price that the off road shops flog them for Nearly the same colour as my LR too! Cheers, Paul
FridgeFreezer
One of the local 4x4 specialists punt those out, they *look* OK but when you see them the intake is about 2/3 or less than the diameter of a proper LR snorkel top, which means flow wise it's p*ss poor as the area is much smaller. They're not the prettiest bit of engineering either.

Just got to be more careful in these German car parks!
BrUcE
I'm looking for a safari style snorkel top to buy as opposed to the mushroom style top. Some guys mentioned this but i am looking for some further clarification on it. I looked at the websites of the companys that were mentioned above but they seem to sell only the grill replacement. i am looking for the ram air style top with a steel grill and if possible a place that will send the hardwwware items to mount it and the pipe to the cage on the car. I am in Jamaica so i can't pop into your local store. I heard about a english company that is making replica safari snorkels at a slightly cheaper price but i am looking to make my own thanks
