Howlin Wolf Round 1

Recommended Posts

It amazes me still that some people even expect to last that long...

and saley - - I reckon fit enough to run about for a couple of hours, but a whole day... pha. no chance mate.

besides the first session or two is training the driver to respond to commands like - STAY.. turn left, turn right.. , drive it you lazy s*d or you get out and ruddy well do it yourself you lazy son of a bad driver.

I may need a translater mind, as I don't do northern that well, even Jesus has limits standards you know. :P:ph34r::lol::lol:

Dan

It is the time in minutes that you last in round one before you wonder if you have done the right thing :P

Well i put my headlights in today and dam that is ugly! i shall take it for MOT this week as if it wont pass now there is little hope after the first round rash sets in so its now or never and then i shall remove the ugly headlights and worry about them later. Oh yes i was also going to go over the trailer as it never gets the attention it deserves so we shall se how the MOT goes first.Slightly OT but has anyone changed the coupling damper on a KNOTT coupling as i think mine is shot ,going from the thump as it springs back after braking, are they easy to change?

yeah yeah come on Bob thats an old pic thats was 3 weeks ago!

anyway with everyone only going for a laugh what does it matter?

I think it might fail scrutineering at the moment  but you know what we are like, drive down for three hours to compete for two hours until we break something then drive back for three hours

 i was hoping for a better year as we spent last year doing that which was annoying as we used to be reliable before we fitted all the "new" bits <_<

There will be a catering van there on Sunday.

Also free Hogroast for all involved on Saturday evening and packed lunches on Sunday courtesy of Gerald David & Family

So you can leave all your cooking gear at home and let us all have a lie in :P

Ok one more question........

Will I need to change my exhaust?

Dan

It appears from the pic that it points down (which is good) and is shielded by the arch (which is also good)

If there is a problem the Scrutineers will advise and request it is sorted by the next round.

The scrutineers are NOT there to stop people competing.

Exhaust looks fine....................but the bit turning the steering wheel needs a lot of work
