New type of Mach 5 rims "seem" to be utter carp! seen a couple of sets and they are NOTHING like the orignals... Bar the centre spokes. I'd be investing in some orignal ones if i was you.. be worth the hunt.

Good lord. Those must be the most expensive steel wheels in the world.

Land Rovers are among the most expensive 4x4's in the world!

But in my opinion, no other after market wheel looks better on a Landy than they do!

I openly admit to being a little biased though.... :D:rolleyes:

Pah, Land Rover do not need to be expensive.

For the cost of those wheels, I could easily have them custom made and not spend half that much. I also like the look of Mach 5s, but that price is crazy.

I'm sorry, I hate to be argumentative but if that's true, why don't you do it?? Get some made, sell them to the rest of us and pocket the profit??

And I hate to say it but pound for pound, Land Rovers are NOT good value compared to other makes when you consider what you get. For the same money, leaky windows, seriously noisy under powered engines and 55mph top speeds would be completely unacceptable (save maybe classic Jeeps). You don't build/drive Land Rovers because of their frugallity...you build/drive them because they're Land Rovers and that's what you want!

This was brought up a while a go if i remember rightly. The wheels are still made by matt lee but for Devon 4x4 and they have the sole selling and distribution rights.I have had both the new and the old, there is hardly any difference in the looks. I now have the bead lock version, which are fantastic but i bought mine second hand as new they are too exspensive.
