Philip Tonkin
Has anyone any experience of these windows? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Land-Rover-Defender-Panoramic-Side-Windows-MUC3766-/280506446190?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item414f7cb16e#ht_1438wt_1139

mike4444244
They're a bit different, quite like the black one, echo the above though 1 branch and its tears before bedtime!
FridgeFreezer
If they're gen parts you'd hope they're pretty robust, 1mm aluminium is not exactly armour plate and some plastics can be bleedin' tough. Not sure I like the look on non-black vehicles.
Top90
Not sure I like the look on non-black vehicles. I was thinking the same, like part of a modern vehicle grafted onto an old fashioned one.
cackshifter
If you anyone had one of the 110 Utilities (ie the CSW with solid back panels (with the lower VED), I wonder if these are opaque enough to qualify as 'vented panels' as opposed to 'windows'... western
the actual vision area doesn't look much different in size from the standard windows.
Guest
I looked at them when they first came onto the market, you have to remove your existing windows and bond them over the top of your sides, they are the same as VW van windows and gives you one van window. After I had looked into it I decided that actualy it would be very easy to break them crack the corner etc which woud be expensive, I also didn't like that fact that they did not cover the back window. Aragorn
the actual vision area doesn't look much different in size from the standard windows. The whole black panel is glass, seems to me its a huge increase over the standard windows? Although it would require you cutting a bigger hole in the alloy panel i suppose. I'm not sure i understand how they can fit both 110's and 90's though? Arent the 90 rear panels longer?

Mo Murphy
Something just doesn't look quite right about these but I can see the appeal. Mo
landroversforever
hmmmm... I think it would look quite nice on an all black truck. Wonder what the visibility from the inside out is... Utility look without the loss of view?

The window apture is no bigger and you don't cut anything else out, the new glass simply bonds to the ali on the outside when you have removed the window the glass sliding bit replaces your existing sliding window. I am not sure how they would fit a 90/110 I think what they must meen is the are available for either a 90 or 110.
