Lewis
Did any one see a hybrid challenge truck at the show, it had a series 1 breakfast and doors, it was green with a union flag roof, had a 2.8 TGV and red winch on the front, rear was some kind of gigglepin winch I've been trying to find a few pictures of it or a bit if information but no joy yet Can anyone help? Thanks

Mr Noisy
I did see it all day as it was parked opposite my car on Nige's stand. But can I remember the name of their club?
Lewis
Forgive me, I was always told the grille panel was called a breakfast. Perhaps someone has been having me on So, does anyone know the vehicle?

Mr Noisy
Was a well sorted machine if a little bit of a rough looker, had force9 axle up front, first one I've seen in person, was, urm, HEAVY duty!
Lewis
I didn't notice the axles. I've had a look at the Viking website but there are no pictures or details, I had a look on google image search for lrs challenge events and found one picture. Nevermind

muddy
Looks like it I recognise the snatch block. Did it take anyone else two days to remove the PAID stamp? Even after scrubbing it with a brake cleaner and swarfega mix I still turned up for a training course on Tuesday morning being able to read it! It was my first time and I felt it just lacked something somehow. All I managed to buy was a cb Ariel quick release however it was well worth the trip to find out the extortionate price of a D2 chassis and meet up with a few friends. Also the dropside body hi lux out front looked pretty cool. Will.
Lewis
Excellent, thanks Mike! Muddy, mine had mostly worn off by the time I left
