miketomcat
I get the change and the corners but as fridge says it's just flat glass so you could get them made in laminated or toughened no problem for not much money. Mike

SwissMike
I found your thread because I've fallen in love with the C303 and would like to buy one and do a camper conversion. I see in the end you switched to a C304 -- I don't have a 7.5t license so I'll stay with the C303. I also see you moved from Switzerland back to the UK. I'm still in Switzerland -- did you originally buy the vehicle and import it into Switzerland? Can you share any tips and tricks about importation and registration of the vehicle when you originally brought it to Switzerland? Did you need special permission to make modifications? HoSS
A long overdue update. The rear body is on, and I've been working on the interior during the inclement weather. 200l water tank, Truma combi heater/boiler, Victron system with 6000Wh of Lion storage & 400W of solar panels. And the addition today a nice s/h awning. (Sorry about the pics, don't know why the forum rotated them, cant see how to turn back)
landroversforever
good to see an update! For the photos.... mine does it occasionally, and the only work-around I've found is to rotate them in a random orientation on the phone, save them, then correct the orientation and save again. It's like the rotation information isn't being passed over when the image is uploaded.
FridgeFreezer
6000wH of battery? What on earth are you powering?

Will need a decent autonomy if overlanding. 6kW/h is not that high, a lot of overlanders will recommend at least 10kW/h
NRS91
nice build! I currently run 4x 110ah lead acid batteries with 460w of solar which is normally fully charged by 10am on an overcast and rainy September day. Will be upgrading to a 200Ah LiFePo4 battery to allow me to make good use of my 3kw inverter for induction cooking, air fryer and water heating when I've got excess solar. Your set up will have plenty in the tank!

Interestingly when i was pricing up the system, i notived that the Victron multiplus 48v was about 1/2 the price of the 12/24v version, so with a bit of waiting around for a good deal, i bought 16x 105Ah lipos for much less than the cost of a 12v system.

Ooo nice 48v! That will charge up quickly! My solar owes me around £300-350 and my lithium, battery monitor and 3kw inverter were £1000 which should cover my needs!
