Team Idris
Mine is in the LH locker on the S1, but it doesn't have to be in the cab?
miketomcat
A friend has his between the passenger seat and bulkhead. It blows up between the seats this is in a 90 hard top. I had one under the driver's seat in a 110 maybe you could get it in the battery box in a 90. How about on the outside of the bulkhead between the seats with a rain shield over it. chris2010
I was thinking if I go wading might get a bit wet If outside , or under battery box , But then again I have got a box in the tub which I could make splash proof
supaimpy
D1 and D2 Eberspacher units will fit in the battery box, remember though when you go wading to make sure its turned off or the combustion air pipe will suck in water.
Anderzander
Mine is in the LH locker on the S1, but it doesn't have to be in the cab? That's exactly my plan for my S1 - with the biggest heater I can find to offset the super draughty tent that it is ....
need4speed
Apologies for slight tangent, but is there a favoured petrol version of these? Would that be too dangerous baring in mind petrol is far more volatile?
eds
There is, and also gas ....
FridgeFreezer
Eberspacher petrol ones are out there, our ambulance has one fitted, as do some older VW campers (but those units are VERY old style, huge, and probably rusty/dead by now). Part number starts with B (Benzin) instead of D (Diesel).
