Kevinfitzf1
Hello everyone. Just bought my first Landy today. Well. The deposit is down Picking her up Tuesday. I wasn't happy about a small oil leak dripping at the bottom of the engine so they are sorting it out. It's a 2005 defender 110. She isn't in the best condition but I'm looking forward to getting her back looking decent.

mad_pete
have you sent it back to have the small oil leak corrected to a large oil leak as it should be with Land Rovers ;-)

Chicken Drumstick
Proper Land Rovers leak. Oil out and water in. It's perfectly normal.
Scotts90
Lol...welcome along...you'll have noticed the inherent site humour in the previous welcoming posts! Some of them don't leak too badly....just the odd weep (that may be from the owners)
Johndude82
Congrats, I hope you enjoy it. I bought my 110 about a year and a half ago as a complete newbie as well and its been an experience ill say that, although I've learnt a hell of a lot and done more on it than I ever thought I would be able to. As above though leaks do seem pretty much par for the course, every time I fix one I notice something else is leaking!

landroversforever
People joke about all land rovers leaking, but in reality they shouldn't and it means that something is wrong so fix them!
need4speed
Welcome to the madhouse. Be careful about fixing that little oil leak. It usually causes a bigger one somewhere else..... It's when it starts leaking smoke that you need to worry!
