geoffbeaumont
Nige, with your taste for OTT metalwork, maybe try a shipbuilder?
BogMonster
PMSL @ Geoff I was thinking more like something off an oil rig
geoffbeaumont
Something like this? (Blatantly nicked from: Magnesium Elektron) Hmm, wonder if they'd do me a set of tubular manifolds like that?
Guest mr_wuffles
There's a company not far from me who do tube bending called "pipework services" they're good.

Les Henson
How about an exhaust place? Exhaust tubing cone in various diameters and the steel must be around the 1.5mm mark. I just bought a 2m length of 60mm dia tubing for the exhaust on catflap and am surprised at how thick the steel is. Les.
JimAttrill
Exhaust places tend to flatten the tube when they bend it - you have to find a place that does mandrel bending where they insert a spring in the tube first
s2hotdog
Nige Try this company T and T Tubecraft Woking Here are the details We use them alot ............... give them a try but they tend to be more industrial than odd bits and pices Cheers Steve
Astro_Al
Nige, if you have any luck with this, please let me know - it's exactly what I need for my combined rollcage / raised air intake as the tube needs to be pretty fat (and not squashed) to take all the air to the engine. Cheers, Al.
western
they tend to be more industrial Just right for Nige then
jules
Try Pete Barrett in Bornmouth. He built Ali's and my roll cages but also make some loony parts for racers he will make anything you want of a car. He's made uprated freelander locating engine mounts for the freelander out of a QT engine mount and she hasn't brocken them since.
